Ginkgo biloba ‘Yatsubusa’. The Japanese word ‘Yatsubusa’ is a general term meaning "dwarf. Therefore, it is assumed that this is simply a dwarf form of Ginkgo biloba that originates from Japan, as no further information has o date been found.

Description Ginkgo biloba ‘Yatsubusa’ has significantly smaller leaves than the species, being only 5 cm across. The rate of growth is slow at 10 cm a year. It is too early to say what the habit is likely to be as we have not had it in the National Collection of Ginkgo biloba and cultivars for long. In 10 years, it is unlikely to exceed a height and spread of 1 m.
