Ginkgo biloba 'Witches Broom' syn. 'W.B' occasionally known as 'Vital Spring' is a male  cultivar originating from Stanley & Sons, 1740 SE Orient Dr, Boring, Oregon 97009 in the United States of America. Its name gives a clear indication of how this cultivar occurred. 
 
Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Witches Broom' syn. 'W.B' occasionally known as 'Vital Spring' produces small green leaves slightly less than 10 cm across. It grows between 8 cm and 10 cm a year forming a fairly dense irregular shaped bush. Expect it to reach a height of 1.2 m in 10 years, the spread usually slightly less. Eventually it should attain a height of 2.75m with a spread of 2m. In the autumn it turns a rich golden yellow. This is a great cultivar to grow in a container or small garden.
