Ginkgo biloba ‘Tony Mahalic Selection’ syn. ‘Mahalic Selection’. Clearly this was a selection made by Tony Mahalic, but the circumstance of how the selection was made are not known.   To date it has only been offered for sale by the Nichols Brother’s trading as Mr. Maple, therefore it is a possibility that they are responsible for this introduction (but that is pure specualtion).
 
Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Tony Mahalic Selection’ syn. ‘Mahalic Selection’ is described as having probably been selected as a witches broom. It is a compact, dense plant that grows very slowly and reaches a height and width of 1.8 to 2.5 m in 10 to 15 years. It has bright yellow autumn colour.
