Ginkgo biloba 'Pine Glen Dwarf', sex unknown, is a relatively new dwarf cultivar originating from The United states of America. There is a Pine Glen in Washington State on the Yakima River, but it is not known if there is any connection to the plant. This cultivar is often seen as a top-worked specimen. Because it is a true dwarf with a dense compact habit it is ideal to grow in containers.

Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Pine Glen Dwarf' has fresh green leaves that hare fairly close together on the stems, giving it an interesting appearance. It is quite slow growing, the annual growth rate is only 10 cm to 15 cm. If grown as a shrub rather than top-worked, it makes an attractive dense mound of foliage approximately 70cm  to 80 cm in height and spread in 10 years. It is not expected to exceed 2m at maturity.
