Ginkgo biloba 'Munchkinot' from the U.S.A. is one of three selections made by Gary Handy from variants of 'Chris's Dwarf' (which has shown some instability in cultivation). The other two are Munchkin' and 'Mighty Munchkin'. 'Munchkinot' was selected from another variant of Chris's Dwarf' that had intermediate leaves, which were darker green, but not as small as Chris's Dwarf' and not as large as the species, but said to be typical of other dwarf cultivars such as  Ginkgo biloba 'Bon's Dwarf' syn. 'Chase Manhattan'. Mr. handy is convinced, that this selection is stable.

Description – The foliage of Ginkgo biloba 'Munchkinot’ whist smaller are more typical of the species, but generally darker in colour. The annual growth rate can be as much as 20 cm. it is a semi dwarf with and upright habit, instead of being congested the branch structure is sparse. Whilst it is too early to predict the eventual height and spread a typical plant will achieve a height of 2 m in 10 years.
