Gingko biloba ' Lehda' - The origins of this cultivar are not known, but currently the only listing is Herrenkampner Garten, Germany, so this may well be an introduction from Heidi. Martin Dieck.
Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Lehda’ is a striking dwarf cultivar. The foliage is rounded and crinkled at the edges. The growth is very dense with many side branches. The annual growth rate is only 5 cm to 10 cm. In 10 years it is not expected to exceed 1 m in height or spread. It may eventually make a specimen up to 3m or so. The growth and habit of the plant make it ideal for growing in containers or where space is limited.
