The origins of Ginkgo biloba ‘Girard’s Spreader’ Originated on Girard's Nursery 6839 North Ridge Rd, East Geneva, Ohio 44041. U.S.A. This ginkgo is rarely found in gardens or in cultivation.
 
Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Girard’s Spreader’ has foliage that is typical of the species. It is a fast-growing dwarf spreading Ginkgo. The annual growth rate is 30cm - 40cm. It should  reach a height 1.0m - 1.5m with a spread of 1.2 - 1.8m in approximately 10 years. It has very good bright yellow autumn colour.
