Ginkgo biloba ‘Fastigiata’ and Ginkgo biloba ‘Elmwood Pillar’ Charles Hunter said, “I find Elmwood to be extremely upright needing little or no pruning to maintain a tight narrow column. The several Elmwood specimens in the Nauvoo Collection are not nearly as tightly upright. To such an extent that Durrell Nelson had questioned whether they were true Elmwood’s”.
