Ginkgo biloba 'Clica' ? originally named 'Folker's Select' is a relatively new introduction from the U.S.A. and is one of eight selections made for the popular American Conifer Societies’ (ACS), Collectors' Conifer of the Year Program. Annually, a committee meets with growers to select unique specimens not normally found in nurseries open to the public. It offers ACS members an opportunity to purchase rare dwarf and/or full-size cultivars that are shipped directly from the growers each spring. There is a suggestion that this is in fact Ginkgo biloba 'Folker's Select' and was renamed thus in 2011.

Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Clica’ originally named 'Folker's Select' is a distinctive, upright dwarf selection with small, ruffled, light-green leaves. It is heavily branched, forming slow-growing mound. The resulting effect is a very tidy, refined specimen. It has an annual growth rate of 7.5cm - 10 cm. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure approximately 1m high with a spread of 1.5 m).
