GGinkgo biloba 'Biesko-Biala' is a nice columnar form which was selected as a seedling and is named after the city of Bielsko-Biala in Southern Poland.

Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Biesko-Biala' is a male form. The leaves are striking with deep irregular notches. Unlike most columnar forms, the central leader outgrows the short side branches, therefore this tree develops a nice narrow, tiered habit. The plant produces 15cm - 20 cm of growth a year, however the eventual height and spread are not known yet. It is estimated that a tree will be 3m high in 10 years. The habit makes it suitable for a small garden.
